Today, MY Jane and I went to Lowes to check out laminated flooring which we are planning to use in the master bedroom, replacing the existing carpeting. We picked a sample and brought it home to check the compatibility with the hardwood in the adjoining hall.
It looks good, so we will probably go with it.
We have also decided on an overall vision of what we want the room to look like when it’s finished. I will be constructing a custom headboard/bedside cabinet arrangement in the near future. Jane also has some ideas regarding decor which include modifying the bay window well to become a window seat and incorporating fabric into the headboard.
We are excited about this new project.
