Last night, while MY Jane and I were downstairs in our family room watching Season 1 of House of Cards for the second time, Jane said to me, “Gary, look at Minnie”. I looked over and there was Minnie sitting on the little black table staring longingly at her window.
I have mentioned before that we leave this window open during the summer so that Minnie can come and go as she pleases. The recent milder weather has Minnie experiencing the cat version of cabin fever, so the completion of Minnie’s stairs, as I call them, is timely.
Jane and I finished painting them yesterday and I just now placed them under the window. After breakfast, I will secure them to the wall and they’ll be ready for use.
We also placed family pictures on the tree decal that we applied a few days ago. Here’s a picture of that. By the way, the tree decal was bought at Home Depot for a mere $25.
Once we get the Roman Blinds for this room, that will pretty well complete it.
