Well, I completed tax returns for MY Jane and I yesterday and I am happy to say that both of us are eligible for a refund.
This is the first time in several years that this has happened. Usually I have to pay. I wonder if filing on St. Patrick’s day had anything to do with it. Now it’s just a question of waiting for the cheques.
However, my understanding is that next year the government intends to phase out cheques. Direct Deposit will be required.
