Here’s some sketch plans of Minnie’s stairs.
They will be attached under Minnie’s window and will provide room for some of the accent pieces that MY Jane wants to display. The lower section will be for more photo albums and books. One thing that is not on the sketch is a toe kick which will be part of it. The idea is for them to fit around the little cabinet that is presently under the window.
It’s not going to be the most pleasing look, I know, but it will be practical for Minnie. She’s getting up in age (15 years….) so anything we can do to make it a bit easier for her is a good thing.
Here’s what I’ve got done so far.
I’ll be using my Kreg Jig to fasten the pieces together and we’ll paint it black. Total cost of this project will be under $50.
Before I get back to that though, this morning I’ll be completing our income tax returns for last year. I’m using Turbo Tax to do it. I got the last T4 that I needed yesterday. I’m happy to say that both of us are getting refunds. Hoòray!
