Wall Decal & Tools

Yesterday morning MY Jane and I put up a wall decal in the Family Room. The idea is to have family photos eventually placed throughout the branches……a “family tree” idea.

We picked it up at Home Depot when we there scoping out Roman Blinds for the downstairs.
In the afternoon, we went to see out boating friends, John and Barb. Last month, at the Bayport Winterfest, John had invited me to come and look at some tools that he no longer wanted. He said he would give them to me….free!
Well, my expectations were far exceeded. John gave me brand new router bits, carbide tipped saw blades for my table saw, drill bits of all sizes, wood rasps, a brand new drill still in the box, an orbital sander, files, sandpaper, wood screws and more. I was blown away with his generosity. Now that I am back into woodworking, all of these items will be a big help.
John’s own workshop is a sight to behold. Every tool imaginable and so well organized. For a woodworker like me, it was a sight to behold!
Of course, Jane had all kinds of questions about their home decor which is done so tastefully and looks so beautiful. She was especially interested in Barb’s Roman Blinds because of our own desire to use them in our place. Barb said she bought them from Sears and they did a great job, coming right to the house to measure and install.
It was a wonderful visit! Thanks John and Barb for your generositity and hospitality.
