Yesterday, we celebrated MY Jane’s birthday even though it’s not really until next Tuesday. It began with Steven and Chris making her choice for breakfast which consisted of waffles, bacon and fruit. Here the guys are hard at it.
In the afternoon, we went downstairs and Jane opened her gifts. Ted gave her a manicure set, some warm slippers and some lounge pyjamas which Jane loved. Steven and Chris & Tonya gave her a beautiful Pandora charm for her bracelet and she was thrilled with that. They had already given her flowers and a bottle of wine the night before when they arrived.
Ted and I chipped in together and got her a Schwinn bicycle.
Jane was taken completely by surprise and told me later that she was so excited, she was shaking. Of course, she wanted to ride it right away, so we all went out in front of the house and off she went. Here’s a little video.
Later in the evening, we all went to Il Bucco restaurant where Steven and Chris & Tonya treated Jane to dinner. A special day for a special lady! Happy Birthday, MY Jane, from all of us!
