Yesterday, MY Jane and I could hardly wait for the guys and Tonya to arrive for Jane’s birthday weekend. You see, I had built a bookcase/door in the doorway leading into the downstairs spare bedroom….the one used by either of them from time to time.

Chris and Tonya were the first to arrive and Jane and I told them they would have to sleep on the sofa in the Family Room because we no longer had the spare room. I told them we were going to put a hot tub in there accessible from the adjacent bathroom. Chris was very skeptical. After a few minutes, We showed them how it worked and they were very surprised.
Later, we did the same thing with Steven when he arrived and when we showed him the secret door, he too, was amazed.
Jane and I were quite happy that our little scheme worked out and, needless to say, both guys said they thought it was very cool. They also said they had imagined a similar bookcase door for themselves when they were younger. But then again, what boy hasn’t?
