Yesterday, MY Jane and I drove to Thornton Ontario, a short distance from Barrie, to look for some Winter scene garden flags. We had taken down the Christmas flags and needed something with which to replace them.
We found several including the two pictured below.
They add some colour to an otherwise drab looking yard and, in the summertime, they are easily moved to a spot in the garden that doesn’t have flowers in bloom at that particular moment.
We are accumulating quite a selection of flags for the yards and seasonal flags that we fly off the flag pole located over the garage door. We have Christmas flags, Easter, Valentine’s Day, Remembrance Day and Thanksgiving. In fact, it’s got to the point where I said to Jane that we will need to create some kind of pictorial inventory of what we have. I’m thinking I may use a Facebook album to do this.
Jane says she is going to figure out a better way to store them too. Up to this point, I have simply been folding them into zip loc bags and storing them in a green plastic storage box.
