Since we’ve returned from our trip to Antigua, Minnie has become more affectionate than ever with us. Every morning, as soon as she hears me stirring in the kitchen, she comes out to greet me with a soft meow and then looks up at me waiting to be picked up.
I hold her and let her look out the window of the kitchen door for awhile, until she pushes at me with her front paws which is her way of saying, “OK – that’s enough. You can put me down now.”
This morning, after doing that, she went back to our room and snuggled a bit with MY Jane, something she rarely does with anyone.
