Good to be Home

MY Jane and I arrived home last night around 10 PM, tired but glad to be back. We missed our little Minnie and she missed us. She was unusually affectionate with both of us. Our neighbour! Jenny, did a great job of looking after Minnie while we were gone. The snow and cold are a big change for the system after basking in tropical sunshine temperatures.

This trip ranks up there with one of the best I’ve been on. It’s always a lot of fun with Jane. We seem to be in sync with everything the other wants to do. From playing shuffleboard to just lounging around the pool or the beach.
Both of us managed to read a couple of books while there, finishing them up on the flight home.

Although we left Antigua about 45 minutes late, we arrived in Toronto on time. My cousin George and Jean met us at the airport and got us safely back home. I had asked George to pick up some bread, milk and eggs because both Jane and I have a craving for some home cooked bacon and eggs. Thanks George.
