Life’s A Beach

Yesterday morning, after breakfast, we stood at the little bus stop waiting for a regular shuttle to the main reception. We had booked a trip to nearby St. John’s, a half hour van ride away.

A man pulled up in a golf cart and asked if we needed a ride. We said yes and he told us to hop on. Turns out it was the General Manager of the resort. How cool
Is that? Great conversation on the way to reception.
We spent a couple of hours in St Johns. There were two huge cruise ships in port so it was extremely busy.

Tons of taxi drivers asking people if they need a cab.

We bought some souvenirs, window shopped a bit and then sat having a cold drink and people watching. A fun morning.
We returned to our resort in time for lunch and then a lazy afternoon at the beach. What’s that saying? “Life’s a beach!” Well, that’s so true here in Antigua where they claim to have over 365 beaches- one for every day of the year!
