We Are Not Frazzled

Well, MY Jane and I are quite pleased with ourselves. We have all our Christmas decorating done, our Christmas shopping finished, and our Gift wrapping completed. There’s no last minute rushing around and, with two weeks to go before Christmas Day, all we have to do next week is baking. Jane says that she is enjoying retirement more than ever. “It’s so nice not to be frazzled”, she says. I agree.

Tonight, we are having our neighbours from across the street, Alland and Jenny, over for dinner and we are looking forward to that. With the weather as it is, it’s good that they can just walk over. So far we have had about 4 inches of snow and it’s still coming down as I write my blog.
However, I do feel bad for our Minnie who is so bored these days. She doesn’t like the cold and won’t go outside. Instead, when you open the door for her, she has a peek and then scurries back inside.
There have even been instances of her giving a hiss of disgust when she sees the snow and feels the cold at the door.
