This morning, Minnie is being very affectionate. As soon as she heard me stirring, she came upstairs from her cozy spot by the fireplace and jumped up on the table to greet me. Then I had to scratch her chin and pet her.
Yesterday, MY Jane and I decided to have a look at the new Lee Valley store in Vaughn. This store has been there since April. They specialize in woodworking tools, equipment and hardware as well as gardening tools. It’s one of my favourite stores, right up there with Home Depot and Home Hardware.
We spent quite a while in there and bought several Christmas items.Â
On our return to Barrie in the afternoon, we dropped by Ted’s place so Jane could help her load money on to her Laundry card. While they were doing that, I popped over to the nearby Metro grocery store to pick up a few things that Ted needed.
We never did get to the upholstery cleaning place to test clean one of our sofa arm covers. We’ll do that today and start getting ready for Ted’s 93rd birthday.
