Yesterday, MY Jane and I went out in the back yard to shovel snow from the back patio after the blizzard of the night before. We also wanted to removed the ice from the windows and clean off the BBQ so I could put the cover back on.
We know that if you put Jane near water, she has to dip her toes in it and if you put her near freshly fallen snow, she has to make a snow angel. Yesterday was no different.
There she is, the little kid spirit in her still alive and well, and a joy to see.
We got all we wanted to do, done and had a blast while doing it.
Our snow removal guy has been here five times so far. I contracted with this local guy to plow our driveway and shovel the front walkway over the winter. Looks like he’s going to earn his pay this year.
