Well, the NHL hockey season is about to begin. MY Jane and I are Toronto Maple Leafs fans despite the fact that our team seems to implode year after year.
Our friend, Jim McDonald, who has season tickets to Leafs games and will be away on a European vacation for awhile, sold us a pair of tickets to the Leafs game against the Colorado Avalanche for next Tuesday and we are looking forward to it.
Recently, because we watch very little regular TV, I cut back our cable coverage to basic. Now I find out that, since Rogers bought the NHL broadcasting rights, I will need Sportsnet to watch the games at home. But, of course, you cannot buy just one channel…you need the VIP package. That costs another $39.00 a month. I feel ripped off.
