Flags

Yesterday, MY Jane and I went to Thornton to the “Original Flag Store” to look for more seasonal garden flags. She found a couple of nice ones to add to our inventory.

While there, I inquired about car antenna flags and I was happy that they had exactly what I was looking for. This one has a Velcro feature that allows for a very secure attachment. I like having something distinctive on the car because it helps me spot it in large parking lots. Only $5.
I used to put a Canadian window flag on the car, but we kept losing them whenever someone inadvertently lowered the window while we were underway. I won’t say who was driving during these losses. Actually, in the spirit of accuracy, it was Jane.
On the way back, we stopped at Home Depot and got some cup hooks to hang up BBQ tools inside the kitchen cupboard and then I changed some door hinges on the Family Room door. While I was busy with that, Jane was busy doing some power gardening. She was going full tilt until the Weedman showed up to apply the last treatment for the year, so she had to stop for a bit.
