Yesterday we went to the nearby Rogers store to see about getting a replacement I Phone for MY Jane. It turns out that I was eligible for an upgrade so what we did was get the upgrade for me and Jane took over my old phone. It then took most of the afternoon to organize everything and to get all my pictures off my old phone so Jane could start fresh. But at least it’s done.
Since we have come home, Minnie has returned to her habit of getting me to let her in and out of the back yard a zillion times an hour. But how can you resist doing what she wants?
Later today, Jane and I are taking a drive down to Toronto to help Steven take delivery of a new car. He is going to be keeping his old car at his workplace on Toronto Island Airport where he is Operations Manager, so we volunteered to drive him to pick up the new one.
We get to see the new car, where he works, and take the ferry across from the mainland. Now for those of you who are still working, this sounds like pretty mundane stuff. But for two retired people, this is the kind of stuff we like to do.
