Great Dinner

Yesterday, The thought of having to dock Georgian Spirit with one engine disabled was somewhat daunting to me. Fortunately, Mother Nature cooperated by keeping the wind down and, with the help of MY Jane, Klae, Steven, and Bay Port Staff, it went pretty good.

A couple of postings ago i mentioned that we had damaged a prop. Damage such as that can be expensive. Then I hear about someone from Montreal with a beautiful Four Winns boat who missed a marker at Potato Island Channel and tore off a sophisticated Zeus drive and sunk. No one was hurt, but the cost to repair this boat……a whopping $100,000 dollars. Ouch!
After being in Bay Port for awhile, MY Jane and I went shopping and I got a Timmy’s and some Timbits, the first in two weeks. Damn…… That Timmy’s is the best.
Later in the day, we went by dinghy to a restraunt at the Midland Town Dock called the Boatworks and Steven treated us all to a great dinner. Thank you Steve.
