We left Bay Port aboard Georgian Spirit late morning and travelled about 40 miles to our point of anchorage just West of Port Rawson Bay.
On our way, we stopped at Indian Harbour for lunch and a swim. While there, we were approached by two men in a dinghy who said they had something for me. Turns out they really like the name of our boat, Georgian Spirit.
Tom and Gord Smellie make their own beer called Georgian Bay Beer and it’s in sale in LCBO outlets but not the Beer Store. Pretty cool of them to do that.
Chris and I did a little fishing with no luck while MY Jane and Tonya did a lot of talking.
For dinner, we had a sea food lasagna made by Tonya’s sister, Michelin, and it was delicious!
Minnie continues to explore around the boat. Yesterday she ventured out on to the walk around and made her way to the bow and back the other side.
Earlier I had said if she ever did that, she was definitely the Ships Cat.
Meet the Official Ships Cat — Minnie!
