Problem Solved

Yesterday morning during breakfast preparation, the generator quit working and would not re-start.

So, given the engine problems of the previous day, I decided to return to the marina to get things checked out. Anyway, we needed the generator working so the fridge would stay cold.
After returning to Bay Port, I had them send a mechanic over and he very quickly determined that the port side gas tank was empty! The sending unit was malfunctioning and was causing the fuel gauge to register an incorrect reading of 3/4 of a tank.
That explained a lot of things …. The boat listing to starboard, the engines quitting when I switched to use the port gas tank, and the generator not working. While it was a pain, I’m glad the faulty gas reading was discovered while we were close to the marina and not out on a big trip. That could have been big trouble.
Steven got the old two rung swim ladder off and installed the new 3 rung ladder installed which was a big help.
MY Jane went for her first swim of the season off the back of the boat in the marina.
