Well, amongst the three of us – Chris, Steven, and I – we completed the garage shelf construction project at Chris’ place.
All of us were satisfied with the end result, but especially Chris, who exclaimed happily, “Now I can get in and out if my car so much easier!” I should have taken a before shot of the garage. What an improvement.
Chris didn’t have need for the little workbench that was there and offered it to me. I am tight for garage space myself at home in Barrie, but I was reluctant to pass it up because it belonged to Jane’s Dad, Bill, and has followed Jane everywhere since they lived on Superior Ave in Etobicoke. When I look at that bench, I think of Bill puttering around on it and making things like the two bird houses of his that we have in the back yard. I wish I had gotten an opportunity to meet Jane’s Dad.
Besides having fun doing that little project, we had the opportunity to just sit around and shoot the breeze. We talked about boating and sports and watched a few movies together. Tonya and Chris are great hosts!
Look forward to having them all up to our place this Easter! It’s always an enjoyable and fun time!
